本周剛好是Lolo Zouaï首張專輯 《High Highs to Low Lows》 發行兩周年，所以決定跟大家介紹這張我個人超愛的專輯
2019年第一次聽到她的Desert Rose，就馬上被她的強烈特色圈粉，
首張專輯《High Highs to Low Lows》充滿個人成長色彩，
父親為阿爾及利亞人，母親是法國人，卻在美國長大的她，因為成長背景的不同，時常覺得格格不入，
這首Desert Rose在講的就正是回到阿爾及利亞家鄉卻受到側目、排擠，當成異類，
只因她在美國長大，所聞所學都與家鄉的人不同，進而希望能在愛人身上尋求保護及關愛
*這首歌的沙漠玫瑰指的並非真的的玫瑰，而是在沙漠出產，產量極少及珍貴的玫瑰狀結晶體
